My Mother age 86 suffering from diabetes was referred by her GP for an iron infusion for anemia. Doctors Lalloo, Moolla and Sithole were unfortunately her doctors and the decisions they made, sending a vulnerable older person for invasive and unnecessary tests, colonoscopy , gastroscopy and finally a CT Scan with contrast dye which caused her kidneys to fail. All this was done without consulting or communicating with her family. The lack of communication from the doctors and holistic non aggressive medical plan upfront for my elderly mother resulted in her passing away 2 weeks after arriving at the hospital walking and talking. We as her family were unable to get information from her doctors, during this awful time, having to leave many messages with the receptionist, our emails not being replied to and the ICU staff not being able to tell us what had gone wrong. I would wish that anyone reading this think carefully before putting your beloved aging relations in their care.

After my consult with Dr Ambaram today I received the best news a stage 3 COPD patient could ever receive – my lung capacity has increased by 25%!! Can you believe that?!! 25 whole percent, and who do I have to thank? The Doc who will not give up on my lungs and will continue to encourage me with every breath I take! Dr Anish Ambaram, I will never be able to thank you enough for enabling me to breath without oxygen and helping me increase my lung capacity over the years. I will continue to sing your praises from mountain tops and into any ear who will listen! You are a doctor in a million and I am absolutely privileged to be one of your patients. Thank you for caring, listening, encouraging, explaining, being patient, getting excited with us when there is progress and using your expertise and knowledge learnt, on my lungs. You are a doc in a million and I appreciate you so very very much. Thank you for enabling me to have another year of life, without an oxygen machine attached to me.

I saw Dr Moolla today (Jan22) and if ever I had a doctor that sat with me and detailed my symptoms and went on to explain each and every possible cause (with each and every symptom). He deals with your problems individually and not just give you a whole diagnosis. The time, patience and listening skills, was amazing. He listened, understood, empathised and gave his diagnosis after viewing all possibilities. No rush, no high medical terminology and most of all – options are given that suits you or your pocket. No regrets and would recommend this Dr. This is my opinion based on my experience.
